Method & Ethics

Every entry, verified.

The rules we work by on English Wikipedia, stated once and kept. They cost us engagements every year. They are also why our entries stand.

Principles · Four rules, no exceptions
01

We do not sell placement.

Publication is decided by Wikipedia’s editorial community. We prepare the case; we do not vote on it.

02

We disclose.

Paid involvement is declared on the record, as Wikipedia’s terms of use require. Undisclosed editing is refused.

03

We decline more than we accept.

A subject without independent coverage is not made notable by better prose. We say no early and in writing.

04

We cite or we cut.

Every claim traces to an independent, published source. What cannot be cited does not appear.

From our engagement terms · clause 1
We are advocates for accuracy, not for the subject.
In practice

How the rules hold.

This page is a summary. The full engagement terms prevail where they differ.

Every Wikipedia account we operate carries the firm’s name and the engagement’s subject on its user page. Reviewers see who we are before they read a word.
Engagement

The record decides.

If our method suits you, one conversation is enough to begin.
