Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

This page explains, in plain language, what data this website handles and why. For any question about your data, write to info@notabilias.com.

Who we are

Notabilias is an independent consultancy that prepares English Wikipedia entries and submits them for independent review. For anything concerning your personal data, the contact is info@notabilias.com.

What we collect, and why

Contact form. If you write to us through the assessment form, we receive what you type: your name, your email address and your message. It is delivered to our inbox by Formspree, the service that processes the form, and we use it for one purpose only: replying to you. It is never added to marketing lists.

Analytics, only with your consent. If — and only if — you accept in the cookie banner, this site uses Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to understand which pages are read. If you decline, the Google script is not even loaded and no data reaches Google.

Preferences. Your language, theme and consent choices are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). They stay on your device; they are not sent to us.

Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, whose infrastructure keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses of requests) for security and operations.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics cookies until you accept. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies. You can change your mind at any time with the button below, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Third parties

Three services are involved in running this site: Google (analytics, only with consent), Formspree (contact form delivery) and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

YouTube API Services

Our podcast publishing automation uses YouTube API Services to upload our own daily episodes to our own YouTube channel (youtube.com/@Notabilias). It does not access, collect, or store any YouTube user data: no viewer, subscriber or third-party information is ever processed — the only data involved is our own content and our own channel credentials.

When you watch our videos on YouTube, your interaction with that platform is governed by the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can review and revoke any authorisations granted to Google services at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. For any privacy question related to our use of YouTube API Services, write to info@notabilias.com.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Write to info@notabilias.com and we will act on it. If you are in the European Union, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Retention and changes

Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful to the conversation that produced it. Analytics data follows Google Analytics’ standard retention settings. If this page changes, the date above changes with it.
